Terrance Hayes is the author of 'Lighthead', winner of the 2010 National Book Award and finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. His other books are 'Wind in a Box', 'Hip Logic', 'Muscular Music' and 'How To Be Drawn' which was a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award and received the 2016 NAACP Image Award for Poetry. His honours include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a 2014 MacArthur Fellowship. His most recent book of poems is the stunning 'American Sonnets For My Past and Future Assassin', published by Penguin Books. Terrance will be signing copies of this book after his reading.

Cynthia Miller is an American Malaysian poet and brand consultant currently residing in Birmingham. Her poems have been published in 'The Best New British and Irish Poets 2018,' Primers Volume 2, The Emma Press Anthology of Love and shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize. She is a trustee on the board of the Forward Arts Foundation.

Casey Bailey is a writer, poet, spoken word performer, rapper and secondary school senior leader from Birmingham. He released the short poetry collection 'Waiting at Bloomsbury Park' through Big White Shed in 2017 and this year his debut full collection, 'Adjusted,' was published by Verve Poetry Press. He is one of The Birmingham Mail's 30 Under 30 which names and celebrates young people with drive and who are an influence for good in the city.
